FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ClaroPath Health.

Is ClaroPath free to use?

Yes. ClaroPath is completely free for patients. You can search, browse providers, and read profiles without creating an account. Creating an account lets you save your insurance plan and leave reviews.

How do I find a provider near me?

Type your zip code or town name into the search box on the homepage or search page. You can then filter by specialty, insurance plan, and distance. Results are sorted from closest to farthest.

How accurate is the insurance information?

Insurance data for unverified providers comes from Medicare and Medicaid government enrollment records, last updated May 2026. This is the most recent publicly available data. We always recommend calling the provider's office to confirm your specific plan is accepted before booking.

What does 'Verified' mean on a provider profile?

A verified provider has claimed their profile on ClaroPath using their NPI number and confirmed their identity. Verified providers directly manage their own insurance plans, availability, and contact information — so that data is more current and reliable.

What does 'Call ahead to confirm availability' mean?

Most providers in our directory haven't claimed their profiles yet, so we don't know their current availability. We recommend calling their office to confirm they are accepting new patients and that your insurance is accepted before booking.

Why do some providers show no insurance information?

Not all providers are enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid, and private insurance data is not publicly available. If a provider has no insurance listed, call their office directly to ask about accepted plans.

How do I know the provider information is real?

All providers in our directory are imported from the National Provider Identifier (NPI) registry, which is the official US government database of licensed healthcare providers. Every provider has a real NPI number that can be verified at npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov.

Can I leave a review for a provider?

Yes. Create a free account, find the provider's profile, and you can leave a star rating and written review. Each patient can leave one review per provider.

I am a provider. How do I claim my profile?

Go to the For Providers page and click 'Claim Your Profile Free.' You will verify your identity using your NPI number. Once verified, you can update your insurance plans, availability, photo, and more.

How much does it cost for providers?

Providers have two options. The Free tier includes a basic listing in the directory. The Verified tier at $39 per month lets you control your profile, confirm insurance plans, set your availability, and appear as verified to patients.

What areas does ClaroPath currently cover?

ClaroPath currently covers New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania with over 374,000 provider listings. We plan to expand to more states as the platform grows.

How do I contact ClaroPath?
